Swiss Colony Winter Wonderland

Today we took down the Christmas tree & did housework. Yuck! It was too beautiful of a day not to go play outside!



This pond is on a vacant lot in Swiss Colony, the subdivision that is directly across the street from ours. Summer finds the road leading to it quite overgrown but as you can see, the weeds are long gone.

There is a lot of ice under the snow, and it was sneaky! Only one of us met the ground with our butts. Not naming any names.




There were some huge icicle formations along the way.



Betsy is transitioning quite nicely into a mountain woman. She hasn't turned us down on an adventure. Yet.
