Look at the size of those awesome sweet potatoes grown in the White House garden!!It cost less than $200 to grow the vegetables which have amounted to over 740 pounds. The food has been used by the White House chefs but most of it has been donated to local soup kitchens.
I'd like to see a stimulus package geared towards individuals of any income bracket, inner cities and rural areas too, for vegetable gardens. Give everybody a hundred bucks, and go forth and plant vegetables and fruit.
